The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has opened the deadline for sports federations to request grants worth up to 840,000 euros to “promote, facilitate and increase female participation in all areas of sport in 2021.”
The resolution signed by the president of the CSD, Irene Lozano, appears published this Thursday in the BOE.
The measures that fall within these grants include the promotion and dissemination of women in sport, training, the transfer of techniques, judges and federative personnel, the development of equality plans and new hires.
The deadline for submitting applications will be qeleven business days from Friday, January 29.
On the whole, The CSD will have this year 15 million euros for actions in favor of equality.
“Support for women’s sport is one of the Council’s fundamental lines of action. This year, and thanks to the new budgets, we will have 15 million euros for its promotion and promotion, between the usual chapters and the European funds. These grants for Women and Sports are just one of the many initiatives that we will launch from this house in the coming months”, said Lozano.
