The mobile version of Rainbow Six Siege is being developed by a new team integrated into the Ubisoft Montreal studio.
Rainbow Six Mobile picks up the tactical multiplayer first-person shooter experience from Rainbow Six Siege optimizing it for smartphones with the free-to-play business model. The Assaulters vs. Defenders main mode will feature 5v5 PvP battles on iconic maps like Bank and Border. Attackers will deploy observation drones to gather intel and strategically breach destructible walls, floors and ceilings while defenders will barricade all entry points and use spy cameras or booby traps to secure their position. By combining strategy and teamwork, players will experience the thrill of intense close combat as they alternate attack and defense to emerge victorious.
We’re very excited to have announced the development of #Rainbow6Mobile!
In our first blog post, we take a few moments to talk about the development of the game, our passion for R6 and bringing it to mobile. 🥳👇https://t.co/yiKy9cDMVE pic.twitter.com/HAMustaw9n

Players will also be able to build their own team of agents from across the Rainbow Six Siege universe. Note that this mobile version will give access to exclusive game modes such as Zone Securing or Bomb: “With only one life at their disposal and the impossibility of reviving during a round, and increasingly intense matches, players will have to adapt quickly to their environment, master the art of fortifying places and to infiltrate enemy territory to lead their team to victory.”
