The love story between Fernanda Gómez and Canelo

 

Fernanda Gómez met Canelo at a charity gala and sparks flew immediately. However, the couple decided to keep things private.

The pair first met in public during the boxer’s fight against Julio César Chávez Jr in Las Vegas in May 2017.

But things did not work out, so they ended their relationship when Fernanda was pregnant with their first daughter together, María Fernanda. During this separation, Canelo began a brief romance with Shannon de Lima, before returning with the model.

It was in 2019 that they resumed their relationship and two years later they stepped on the altar in a surprising way, on May 15, 2021. The wedding was celebrated privately with family and close friends of the couple.
