Governor Jared Polis announced the first winner of the $1 million Colorado drawing and it is Sally Sliger becoming the first winner of five drawings to be held in the state.
The five winners will be announced as part of the $50,000 scholarship program to encourage students to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
The state will offer a total of 25 scholarships, along with a program of “ComebackCash” $1 million for five adults who have received the vaccine.
Arianna García, a young Longmont resident, was one of the first 5 winners of the Colorado college scholarship raffle, a program carried out by the state to encourage vaccination in the youngest.
