Ubisoft took advantage of this period rich in announcements to detail the rest of the program reserved for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The publisher offered details on tomorrow’s update and also confirmed that the game will receive a second year of post-launch support.
Ubisoft has just published, on the official website of the game, a long list of fixes that will combat many stubborn bugs thanks to update 1.2.2 releasing tomorrow. However, it doesn’t just make a few improvements here and there.
Available around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, the update introduces new skills. Among these, we find “The Archer on horseback” which allows you to use bow skills on the back of a mount, “Master of the shield” which will automatically parry the attacks of which you are the target, and finally “Unstoppable” where, in exchange for endurance, you can continue your sprint and push back your attackers.
Regarding the other additions of this version 1.2.2, there are cosmetics for raids, armor of all kinds, an improved River Raids mode which offers better rewards and, finally, a brand new free game mode called “Mastery Challenge”.
Accessible using 5 new altars scattered around the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, this game mode gives access to three types of tests: the test of the “Bear” focused on physical strength, the test of the “Wolf” which will assess your skills in ranged combat and the test of the “Raven. Which will test your character’s stealth.
However, before you can access these challenges and the potential unique rewards that await you, You will need to have reached a power level of at least 221 to be able to prove yourself during these challenges.
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is therefore welcoming a new update tomorrow on PC, Playstation, Stadia and Xbox. You can also find our test, which gave it a score of 18/20 on next-gen.
