Resident Evil Village has more content once you finish the story mode and here we give you tips to play Mercenaries. Read all the details here.
The Mercenaries is a mode that opens when you finish the story of Resident Evil Village. Once the campaign is complete, you can purchase it for just a measly 10 CP from the Bonus Content Store, with all the unlockables.
This is a mode arcade where the goal is to score points for killing enemies before time runs out and offers unique special abilities that make the game much faster and more intense.
Capcom created a mode where the game offers random skill pools, but some of them like Magic Charger, perhaps the most popular of all, are going to require you to play to unlock it first. Let’s go from the beginning: while you play Mercenaries, you will see that on the map there are several orbs floating in the scenarios.
The yellow ones add you playtime, while the blue ones give you abilities. To grab them, you have to get in range and tap the action button on your platform. Each orb has three abilities, and if one appears multiple times and you keep choosing it, the effects add up. Since there is literally no limit to modifiers, the more you have, the better.
Skills are lost when the game ends, so use and abuse them as soon as you see it. The four unlockables are Magic Charger, Execution, Lightning Speed and Masamune. These will require you to complete the levels with rank SS for them to start appearing in the orbs.

Best skills
Your style of play is your own and that is why recommending skills is often a matter of taste. Likewise, the game is based on how random each game can be – the important thing is that as soon as you see orbs, you activate them anyway to see if something catches your attention.
If you ask us, the best are always Magic Charger and Execution, which adapt to any style of play and have no negative consequences.
