At PAX, the creators of the new Guide They were presenting their game. They talked about the development of this Wayfinder and how they got here after publishing titles like Darksiders Genesis or Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. In addition to how they ended up with Digital Extremes as the publisher of this new game as a free service that will be launched during this 2023.

New closed beta in April
In April, we’ll have another chance to try out Wayfinder before it launches into Early Access in May. If you want to try it out, visit its Steam page and sign up for the beta.
Season 1
They also showed us the content for the first season which will kick off with the start of Early Access in May. The first season revolves around poisonous characterwhich was also presented at the fair.
Each season will revolve around a character and their associated stories. The seasons last about 3 months. With the purchase of the premium season pass, we will have access to the rewards of the pass and the new character of the season. The passes do not expire, once unlocked we can complete it whenever we want.
A curiosity of the battle pass is that it will not only be linear and will function as a kind of mini board game.
Previously they already indicated that all characters and weapons can be obtained in the game without paying.
