sony and the UEFA signed a PlayStation sponsorship deal in women’s football. This deal will last for three seasons, including the current Champions League and Euro 2025.
This new sponsorship has already made its debut in the first legs of the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals between FC Bayern München v Arsenal FC and AS Roma v FC Barcelona. He will also be present in the evenings that will be held OhOlympique Lyonnais vs Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain vs VfL Wolfsburg.
This partnership will see PlayStation sponsor the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, UEFA European Women’s Under-19 and Under-17 Championship, EURO UEFA Women’s Futsal Championship, as well as joining UEFA’s #WePlayStrong initiative, with the aim of ”encouraging more girls and women to play football”.
UEFA and Sony PlayStation have one of the oldest partnerships, having worked together almost since Sony was founded in 1997.
