Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League The developers are optimistic about the game despite the various reviews from people since its first reveal.
Suicide Squad devs are happy with the game
According to the latest episode of the VGC Podcast (via Spotify), there have been internal Rocksteady Studios comments on the title, with VGC’s Andy Robinson saying the following about the game:
“I was told that it wasn’t another Gotham Knights, that everyone who worked there was pretty optimistic about the fight loops they did and the game world and things like that.”
Gamers reacted negatively to the game, with people criticizing the title’s live service elements and lamenting how long they had to wait for a new Rocksteady title to be a game-as-a-service title. There are also concerns about the game’s microtransaction potential, given the inclusion of a Battle Pass. Still, if the developers are internally happy with the title, then criticizing it may be premature.
This news comes as reports indicate that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could be delayed until 2024, with the main game remaining unchanged despite complaints.
