A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a police chase in southwest Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) officers arrested the man on the Don Shula Freeway near Killian Parkway after the chase began in Homestead and traveled north on the turnpike.
The chase reportedly ended after the car collided with another vehicle, an Uber driver, who spoke to Telemundo 51. No injuries were reported.
“I felt a blow in the back and I saw the number of police who were chasing him,” said the driver.
“I’m fine, my back hurts but I’m alive,” he said.
The MDPD did not say whether the man involved in the lawsuit, who has not been identified, has been formally charged at this time.
