In a few weeks, esports fans will be flocking to the West Coast of the United States for the DreamHack San Diego event. The massive event will feature a variety of additional games and offers, but will be headlined by a Rocket League Major, where players will compete for a share of a $310,000 prize pool.
With DreamHack San Diego scheduled for April 7-9, the presence of the Rocket League Championship Series will be that of the Winter Major. But to add to that, the event will also feature tournaments from the Snapdragon Pro Series, US Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship, DreamHack Fighters, and Fortnite, with hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs across all tournaments.
But that won’t be all, as DreamHack San Diego will be offering additional activities, such as cosplay contests and designer showcases, and even an exclusive Super Mario Bros. movie showcase, to coincide with its premiere shortly before the start of the event.
