After a huge controversy that erupted last year at The Oscars, when Will Smith criticized Chris Rock, the big film and TV awards show is quickly approaching. This year, the organizers want to leave no detail unplanned and are preparing a show worthy of the occasion.
The 96th Annual Academy Awards, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will take place this Sunday, March 12, 2023, at a gala to be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The official broadcast of the most important event in the world of entertainment will be managed by the ABC network in the United States and Latin America through the TNT channel. The ceremony will start at 2:00 a.m. (Peninsular Time) and one hour earlier in the Canary Islands, which means that it will take place in the early hours of Sunday to Monday. However, starting at 12:30 a.m., the red carpet screening will take place.
The evening will be hosted by the presenter and well-known comedian Jimmy Kimmel and will feature many surprises, some of which have already been revealed, such as Rihanna’s performance.
