Audi has unveiled its latest means of transportation, and it’s not a car as you might expect. Instead, it’s an electric off-road bike, whose design is inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar racer.
The bike, known as Audi Electric Mountain Bike Powered by Fantic, features an aluminum frame and is powered by a 36-volt, 720 Wh battery that is said to power the motor with 90 Nm of torque. press, there’s no mention of the range the bike will be able to offer, but we’re told it will feature four levels of electric assist, they being; Eco, Tour, Sport and Boost – each designed for different types of off-road travel.
The bike will also be available in one of three sizes and retail for a staggering price starting at £8,499. Check out Audi’s two-wheeled effort below.
