The president of court number 4 of Majadahonda, Delia Rodrigo, who investigate possible irregularities to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) under the presidency of Luis Rubiales, ordered former Barça player Gerard Pique the contract he signed with the RFEF which allowed him to play in the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. The request to Pique is one of the procedures that the judge adopted in an order in which she resolves several requests made by the anti-corruption prosecutor, who asked for new evidence on this plot at the beginning of February.
The new procedure aims to clarify the negotiations that Rubiales allegedly had in the Middle Eastern country for an alleged sale of Copa del Rey broadcasting rights in countries such as Mauritania and Mauritius.
The judge gave the former Barça player within ten days to provide this information.
