The followers of Spider Man eagerly await the release of the second animated film of Miles Moraleswhich hits theaters this summer and fans are hoping to see a new lineup of characters from the superhero.
Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Versewill feature the return of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Haile Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, as well as Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew/Spider- Woman, Daniel Kaluuya as Hobart “Hobie” Brown/Spider-Punk and Jason Schwartzman as Jonathan Ohnn/The Spot.
And based on the trailer for the animated film, there will be plenty more surprises from Spider-Man, leading many fans to wonder if that would include the actual live-action Spider-Man. Tom Hollandand now, according to Jeff Sneider’s The Hot Mic, Holland could play Spidey in the new animated movie.
“I heard that part of the delay, because Across the Spider-Verse was delayed, was about including Tom Holland in this movie, and that one of the dimensions that Miles might end up going to… is a live-action dimension starring Tom Holland,” Sneider shared in his latest video. While it’s not a guarantee that Holland will lend his voice to the highly anticipated sequel, Sneider has been right about some rumors in the past.
Did Tom Holland comment on the Spider-Verse movies?
“(Producer) Amy (Pascal) actually asked me on the set of (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and no one answered me,” Holland previously revealed to SYFY WIRE. “I want to be in it. Yeah, I love those movies.”
Now, when it comes to Holland’s Spider-Man future, it hasn’t been officially confirmed if Holland will don the Spidey costume again in a live-action movie, but it looks promising. The actor seems to have mixed feelings about his comeback, but he’s not ruling out a return to Marvel.
