AMLO called Dina Boluarte a “fake president” and will continue to demand the release of Pedro Castillo

The Mexican president continues to accuse the current Peruvian government of being illegal and of violating the constitution. He accused the OAS, UN and human rights organizations of “turning a blind eye” for not taking action and will continue to support Castillo Terrones’ family.

The President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, again interfered in Peruvian domestic politics, calling Dina Boluarte a “false president” and exercising an energetic defense in favor of Pedro Castillo. “We consider it a great injustice to remove him from office because he was elected by the people, so the conservatives in Peru have violated the constitution and are a minority.”
