2K and Marvel Entertainment have announced that Redemption*he second post-launch DLC of Marvel’s Midnight Suns done by Venomis available now worldwide for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In RedemptionVenom, the deadly fusion of Eddie Brock and an alien symbiote, joins the Midnight Suns to right the wrongs he has done under the demonic influence Lilith subjected him to. Bloodsucking vampires have plagued New York’s sewers, but even they tremble in fear at the sight of Venom’s black claws and sharp teeth. With help from the Midnight Suns, Venom struggles to regain control of his actions and rid New York of the plague, but trying to get rid of a manipulative demon has caught the attention of another.
The Redemption DLC includes:
- A new recruitable hero: Venom, a savage symbiote with 10 unique hero abilities.
- New Story Missions: The fight against the vampire menace continues in New York.
- New improvements for the Abbey: network whispering
- 3 additional hero skins, 7 outfits for the Abbey and 2 swimsuits for Venom.
Venom is recruited by completing his first story mission called “The Devil’s Debt”, and becomes playable after completing the “Shaking Expectations” mission at the end of the first act.
On the battlefield, Venom start each encounter with a big damage bonus in the form of voracity. Greed is a mechanic unique to Venom; it starts with three stacks, each increasing its base attack. Using an Attack or Heroic card, spend a unit, which will gradually replenish each turn. This makes Venom a particularly explosive character – he requires careful management of game strategy to increase his damage. His abilities can allow him to have longer periods of intense power.
Build Venom Upgrade at the Abbey, network whispering, unlocks the ability to use Intel to modify general missions, by applying a random modifier such as changing the mission leader or lowering the difficulty of the mission. The Whispering Web upgrade adds an additional quest reward, such as credits, blueprints, or essence.
