Hogwarts Legacy: How to complete the “Shadows of the Mountain” quest

To activate this mission you will have to go talk to Sebastian and he will tell you the point on the map where the cave you must enter is. As you head there you will have to face a few groups of goblins, So I recommend having plenty of healing potions on hand.

As soon as you enter the cave, you will find a group of spiders that you can easily defeat if you do not forget to use the fire spells you have, since this is the weakness of this type of enemy. Finish with the second batch that you will find a little further and use depulso to break the barrier blocking your path.

Keep going through the cave and kill all the spiders you see until you reach a room where there is a staircase. Climb on it, destroy the web using Incendio or Confringo and blast the rock face with Depulso to keep moving forward. In the next room you will find more spiders and one of these doors that open when you attack three orbs that will be in the area:

• Two of them are near the door itself 1️⃣
• The third is at the far end of the room, behind some rubble. 2️⃣

Defeat the troll and keep going through the cave until you come to some sort of storage room with an inaccessible ledge. Well, you will have to move a box to him that will be in the area using Wingardium Leviosa to be able to go up and continue. Keep moving forward in the cave until you reach a second door that opens by attacking orbs:

• The first is just to your left, behind a wall you can knock down with Depulso 1️⃣
• The second is right in front of the door (You’ll see it as soon as you walk away from her) 2️⃣
• If from the point where you see the second, you turn left, you will see the third 3️⃣

Explore the next room, talk to Sebastian and return to the safe. There you will have to go through the memories of a new Pensieve. When the cutscene ends, the mission is complete.
