“I deeply regret the death of our officer Maribel Salazar at the hands of a murderer who is already detained and who must never return. Two boys left without a mother, a family destroyed by this scourge. Words are not enough for so many pain,” he said.

“My most sincere condolences and all my support to the family of officer Maribel Salazar, cowardly murdered today in the Retiro”, wrote the mayor of Buenos Aires on social networks. In addition, he asked for a rapid intervention of Justice on the fact. “The offender was arrested at the time of the events and I hope justice will act quickly and with the full weight of the law.”
