Line 1 of Lima Metro announced the temporary suspension of its service between the stations of Angamos and Villa El Salvadorr, in both directions, due to technical failures.

“Dear passengers, we inform you that due to an incident in our system, the service will only be provided from Bayóvar station to San Borja Sur in both directions. Service is suspended between Angamos and Villa El Salvador stations; trains do not make stops at these stations,” reads the statement posted on their social media.
They added that for their safety, passengers who are inside trains and away from stations should follow the instructions of Line 1 staff.

For its part, the Urban Transport Authority (ATU) indicated that “its staff is vigilant for the restoration of the service in order to inform users in good time”.
