Sam is a small character who has a big impact on The last of us. He builds a quick relationship with Ellie, and since she has to depend so much on her brother Henry, you feel sympathy for both characters. Sam definitely doesn’t deserve the world he grew up in. This amount of innocence should never see the things it was meant to see. In the HBO series, he is deaf, but what about the circumstances of his life? Sam dies on HBO? The last of us?

Did Sam die in The last of us what show?
Yes, Sam dies at the end of episode five of HBO. The last of us to show. During the encounter with Kathleen’s group, an infected man grabs and bites her. Although Ellie tries to save him with her blood, that’s not how the yeast infection works. He stays up all night, hoping he’ll be okay in the morning, but when Ellie wakes up, he’s already rolled over. When Sam attacks Ellie, Henry grabs a gun and shoots her to save her.
Although there are some differences between the characters in the game, the way he is treated in the later stages of his presence in the series is largely the same. He is bitten by an infected when attacked after an attack by raiders, not a revolutionary army. Although he is deaf and has a written conversation with Ellie on the show, it’s mostly the same conversation, except he speaks, and he doesn’t reveal to Ellie that he was bitten. When Ellie checks on him in the morning, he attacks her and is shot by Henry.
For anyone new to The last of us, you probably had the idea that Henry and Sam would be with Joel and Ellie for the long haul. Sadly, everyone who played the game had a pretty good idea of how that relationship ended. Henry and Sam are great characters in both the show and the game, and it’s amazing to see their story unfold so well on screen.
