As you explore the vast, magical world of Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll likely come across locked doors that won’t move. So now you have a need the size of an acromantula to see what’s behind that door. If only one of the 34 Hogwarts Legacy spells could help you open those locked doors. Fans of the saga already know what fate we are insinuating on Alohomora. Luckily, the spell Hermione uses to escape Filch in the movies is also available in Hogwarts Legacy. Once you unlock it, you can unlock the locked doors.

How to Unlock Alohomora in Hogwarts Legacy
You will not learn the Alohomora spell at the start of the game. You’ll need to go all the way to Mission 25, “The Caretaker’s Moon Lament,” to unlock it. Let’s put number 25 into perspective: you’ll get this quest after you’ve spent about eight hours in the game.
For this quest, you will receive an owl message from Gladwid Moon and he will ask you to sneak into a restricted part of Hogwarts at night and take two Demiguise statues for him. Completing this quest for him will unlock the Alohomora spell at Hogwarts Legacy. Now all that’s left to do is master this door-opening mini-game.
How the Alohomora spell works at Hogwarts Legacy | Alohomora Spell Leveling Guide
The problem is that you can only open all level 1 locked doors. You will need to upgrade the Alohomora spell to unlock higher level doors. If you find yourself facing a level 2 door and need to upgrade Alohomora, you will need to collect some additional Demiguise Statues for Gladwil Moon at night. To maximize this spell, you will need to deliver 20 Demiguise Statues. With so many rewards hidden behind closed doors, it’s worth upgrading Alohomora as soon as possible.
