The Genshin Impact: Official Art Book Volume 1 will finally be released in English, and it’s currently available for pre-order on Amazon. The anime game’s art book is already available in China from 2021 and Japan from 2022. It was still available for purchase elsewhere, but obviously most Western audiences couldn’t read in either version.
The English version of the book will be released later this year, on September 5, according to the US Amazon listing. On the UK site’s version, the release date is August 31. There is no cover on the page yet, but the Chinese and Japanese editions have the same cover: Aether and Lumine standing side by side in a field of flowers. .
The art book will be 208 pages long and can be pre-ordered in both print and Kindle editions for $35 / £26.40. Interestingly, the UK page lists the book as only 176 pages, as does the Japanese edition, so there may be some differences in the US version.
You can pre-order the English version of Genshin Impact: Official Art Book Volume 1 with these links to the Amazon US page and the Amazon UK page. We all know how popular this game is, so if you want the art book, it would be better to buy it as soon as possible, in case it runs out; nobody wants to buy an expensive resale on eBay.
I don’t know how other players feel, but to me the official art of Genshin Impact is generally much more interesting to look at than the in-game models. This is especially true for characters like Itto, who turned out being thin in the game when his art depicts him as a buff oni. Fans weren’t happy, to say the least.
Itto is currently unavailable for extraction, but Hu Tao and Yelan have just arrived in the second half of Genshin Impact 3.4 for those who have been waiting for them.
