Isidro Márquez, historical leader of LMB saves with 301, played 22 seasons in the summer circuit. THe had records of 97 wins and 78 losses with 3.44 runs allowed per nine innings. The pitcher participated in the Majors in 1995 with the Chicago White Sox.
José Luis ‘Borrego’ Sandoval is remembered for his ability to field at short stops with the Red Devils of Mexico; Eduardo Jiménez was one of the great sluggers of all time in the LMB; William ‘Grillo’ Serrel was a star in the early years of Mexican baseball and Jorge Menéndez was one of the best chroniclers in the south of the country.
