During this year’s SummerSlam, WWE stars Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan squared off in a match that ended in controversial circumstances.

Despite forcing Morgan to submit, Rousey was declared the loser and the referee chose to take a good look at her shoulders and saw that they were pinned to the canvas, earning Morgan a three count.

The result sent Rousey into a rage and she attacked both the referee and Morgan after the match. That earned him a fine and suspension from WWE. The fighter paid the fine in cash and demanded her reinstatement to the SmackDown brand, something they did not grant.

This prompted more attacks from the former UFC star, leading to her eventual arrest. However, on this week’s episode, Rousey appeared in a proportionate segment pleading with one of WWE’s higher-ups for the suspension to be lifted.

WWE official Adam Pearce read the document out loud and informed the crowd that the suspension would be lifted. However, Pearce was not happy with Rousey’s behavior in recent weeks and said a few words that the fighter did not like.

This angered Rousey and she went to him, which was supposedly payback for Pearce calling the police earlier. Given the latest incident, it remains to be seen if Rousey will appear at an upcoming pay-per-view event.
