With two goals, Flamengo beat Resende at home

In the 7th date of the Tournament of Brazil – Carioca Championship 2023, Flamengo was energetic against an opponent who failed to open the scoring at the Estadio da Cidadania. The visitor’s goals were scored by Matheus Gonçalves (30′ 2T) and André Luiz (33′ 2T).

The figure of the meeting was Matheus Gonçalves. The Flamengo striker scored 1 goal and twice on target against Resende.

On the other hand, Joanderson was the key. The Resende defender was important as he cleared 11 dangerous balls.
