Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Beijing on Friday afternoon to attend the opening ceremony of the Chinese capital’s Winter Olympics, state television CCTV reported.
During the visit, the Kremlin leader will meet with Xi Jinping, in the Chinese president’s first face-to-face meeting with another world leader in two years.
