In the municipality of Acapulco , Guerrero , nine men were found dead , five of whom were inside a bar.
According to information from Amapola Periodismo , early Monday morning armed men entered the bar and shot at the victims.
The State Attorney General ‘s Office (FGE) reported that the attack was recorded at the Santana bar located on Simón Bolívar street, in the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood , heading to the Diamante Zone.
The authorities detailed that due to the homicide, a man was arrested and a weapon for the exclusive use of the Army was secured.
However, those killed in the Acapulco bar were not the only victims, since on Constituyentes street, armed men murdered three chicken peelers.
“At ten o’clock in the morning a man who was inside a car in the El Guitarrón subdivision was shot to death,” the newspaper detailed.
Data from El Sur de Guerrero indicate that the attack was reported at seven in the morning when armed men attacked different locations.
Official figures report that in Guerrero , from January to October of this year, 1,617 investigation folders for the crime of homicide have been registered.
