Deaths from cases linked to the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 were from people between 50 and 104 years old and 1,275 people have lost their lives due to this disease.

The Sinae maintains that there are 707 occupied intensive care beds out of the 943 available, which is 75%. Of that total, 46.3% correspond to patients with covid-19.

However, the daily report of the Uruguayan Society of Intensive Medicine handles other figures, since it highlighted this Thursday that there are currently 447 hospitalized in ICU for covid-19 and that 702 beds are occupied by 927 operations. In addition, he pointed out that the total occupancy is 75.9% while that of covid-19 represents 48.3%.

Currently, the entire country is in the red, according to the Harvard risk index, and the border departments with Brazil, Cerro Largo and Rivera, continue to be the most affected with 144.31 and 144.98, respectively, while the country registers an average of 91.55 new cases in the last seven days.

Regarding vaccination, 797,423 people have already been inoculated with the first dose of Coronavac or Pfizer, while 162,681 have already received the second dose. In this way, there are already 22.74% of the country with the first part of the vaccination and 4.64% completely immunized.
