Ukraine: many buses arriving at the Tarvisio border

Six, seven buses, about twenty private cars and some minibuses. These are the vehicles that arrived this morning at the Tarvisio (Udine) border with Ukrainian refugees, women and children on board, only in an hour and a half. These are mainly – this morning – buses with Polish plates, while very few are Ukrainian ones – but they transfer people fleeing the war to Ukraine. The number of buses would be within the average of the last few days and would have increased compared to a week ago, according to some local operators.

arvisio is one of the two points of entry into Italy through the Fvg, the other, Fernetti’s Trieste, seems to have been chosen by a lower number of vehicles carrying Ukrainian refugees. According to what we learn, among the buses that passed this morning for Fernetti, there was one with children undergoing cancer treatment on board.
