The government of Ukraine has purchased 5,100 RGW90 HH Matador anti-tank handguns from Dynamit Nobel Defence, a German defense company based in North Rhine-Westphalia. This is reported by “Bild”. They would have cost 25 million euros.
2,650 of the weapons had already arrived in Ukraine on Saturday afternoon. The remaining weapons are to be delivered in weekly tranches by the end of May. The weapons are shoulder-launched rocket-propelled grenades that can be used against both unarmored and armored targets. According to “Bild”, they could penetrate the armor of any Russian tank, depending on the point of impact.
