According to the statement issued by the security agency, the accused was identified as Jose Rafael “N”, who is still under investigation for the crime of attempted murder.

They also indicated that the 75-year-old woman and her partner are people on the street who sleep in a vacant lot near the place of the attack, located between the streets of London and Venice, in the community of Camargo.

Fortunately, a neighbor took a bucket of water and threw it at the woman, which managed to extinguish the flames. The Celaya’s Security Secretariat reported that police elements arrived on the scene to attend to the report. However, in a first search, they did not find the aggressor.

Despite the fact that some local media, and even the Guanajuato Prosecutor’s Office, reported that Esther was a woman living on the streets, the Municipal National System for the Integral Development of Families (DIF) denied this information.
