They capture the suspected hitman who killed Paramonga’s councilman

There National Police of Peru (PNP) was on the trail of hitmen who ended the life of the advisor from the Paramonga district, Flor Isabel Sandoval Villanueva. This Tuesday afternoon, February 14, the troops managed to capture one of the alleged murderers identified as Dirceu Everaldo Ortega Chinchay 35 years old, also known as ‘Puchungo’.

On January 6, a few days after taking office, she was assassinated in her own business, located in the province of Barranca in Lima. Before that, the then official had denounced having received death threats.

The PNP Homicide Task Force conducted an operation to capture another of the alleged members, Gerson Angeles Campos, who would be ‘Gersinho, but was not found. In addition, for the authorities behind this crime, there would be an intellectual author who, in the coming days, could be known thanks to the statements of the detainee.

The person allegedly involved was transferred to the police unit so that he could then be made available to the prosecution. In the meantime, the second preparatory instruction court of Barranca has declared admissible the request for seven-day pre-trial detention against the accused.

A few days after taking office, Sandoval Villanueva would never have imagined that his candidacy would end his life. Just five days after settling in the town, the two criminals pretended to be customers to enter their cellar normally.
