The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harrisreaffirmed this Friday the commitment of the allies in their support for Ukraine during separate meetings in Munich (Germany) with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholzand the French President, Emanuel Macron.
The Vice Presidency of the United States informed in two press releases of these meetings which take place at the beginning of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Upon his appointment to Scholz, Harris “praised” Germany’s historic investments in defense and its “strong” humanitarian, economic and security assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of Leopard tanks.
Harris told Macron that the United States would support kyiv “as long as it takes” and together they discussed the next steps for the “united response” from the allies.
During this meeting, Harris and Macron spoke of the strength of the relationship between the I WILL TAKE and the United States, as well as the North American country with its European allies.

In his message to world leaders gathered in Germany, Zelensky He further felt that “there is no alternative to Ukrainian victory”.

For his part, the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholzpledged continued support for Ukraine on Friday as kyiv struggles to repel Russian troops.
“From the start, our support is built to last,” he told the Munich Security Conference.
Likewise, the president Emmanuel Macron He urged the allies on Friday to step up support for a Ukrainian counteroffensive against Russia and said France was ready for a protracted conflict.
“We must step up our support and our efforts to help (Ukraine) and enable a counter-offensive,” he said at the Munich security conference.
