The military notebook of a young Colombian appeared with the photo of Cristiano Ronaldo: the army says it is the fault of the citizen

A situation that looks like a meme or a joke far from reality has gone viral on social networks, after a young Colombian showed on his Twitter account that after a long process of deleting his military card with him Colombian National Army, when you got the digital document, there was a photo that was not yours. The most striking thing about the situation is that who appears in the document, with all the information about the young man, is the football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It is very expensive to process the military notebook so that they generate it for me with the photo of Cristiano Ronaldo. I ask and they tell me that they don’t know what they did with my photos, that I have to take them in person, why are they playing with people’s time?”, writes the young man. Some time later, David Godoy had to upload a video in which he not only revealed his annoyance for all the steps he had to take before to obtain his document, but also showed that when he entered on the official site of the army to see his document, there appeared the photo of the famous Cristiano Ronaldo and not his, it’s because on social media people didn’t give credit to his post.

Given the popularity of its publication, David Godoy He pointed out that “the mayor of the military district contacted me”, but he pointed out that before exposing the situation on his social networks, he had not replied to his messages. “He’s going to change my picture, but he assures me it’s my fault. The entity explained that the “digital military card is a free procedure that is carried out jointly between the citizen and the authority” and that each citizen who requests it manages his username and password on the page. About the special case of David Godoy They pointed out that the young man had posted on the page, in February 2016, seven photos “which do not correspond to those of the citizen”.

They added that through district N°55 of Fusagasugáwhere the citizen is registered, they contacted David Godoy “so that your situation is resolved; because, in principle, through the designated user, photographs should not be attached that did not meet the requirements previously indicated in the process of issuing the military card”.

Finally, they indicated of the army that “an internal review of the procedures carried out in the treatment of the military card will be carried out, which will help to identify fully if it is an individual behavior on the part of the user, which could give rise to liability the prior authorization of the competent authority” and also “it will be examined whether there has been any type of omission in the process and/or checks by an official within the framework of the process”.
