This morning, the referent of the Blue List, Miguel Bustinduy, made statements on the radio in which he detailed the demands of the sector. “This is not the first time that we have come to raise the issues. We have been at the Ministry of Labor for a week trying to find a solution to the problems we have. One of the problems is the salary difference. We have colleagues with different pay scales across the country. And we offer the same work, the same pay. We have a loss of purchasing power that goes back years,” he explained, in dialogue with discovery radio.

In the same vein, he added: “Then we have a great deterioration inside the country with the question of article 223 bis of the law on the employment contract. It was used in the pandemic for companies whose activity was affected. The pandemic has passed and the question of 223 continues to be applied to us. Inside the country, 88% of the salary does not pay, and we pay for 12 nothing more. We work practically in black”.

Finally, Bustinduy mentioned the problems arising from the last trade union elections. “Five sections of the country won the election of December 1 and 2, which we denounced for fraud, 26,000 registry comrades who were there to vote failed, and they uploaded another model. We also have a sentence of January 3 which says that the colleagues must assume their position, but the union does not pay attention to the judicial resolution, ”he denounced.

After several days of camping In front of the National Ministry of Labor, the drivers who support the dissident faction – led by Bustinduy and Osvaldo Agrafogo announced this Thursday total stoppage of the lines they represent, which It will last, in principle, up to 12 hours.

For the delay of ayer, the Consejo Directivo de la UTA issued on propio comunicado, in el que desligó del paro y acusó a Bustinduy de pretender “con sus complacientes laderos, generar un Lock Out employer con el único objectivo de realizar descuentos salaries à the workers”.

“Result lamentable that a small group of people, identified with the list that lost the election, intends to use the workers, holding the users hostage to their interests, to an alleged extent that is not approved by the union entity”, it was noted in the text bearing the signature of the Secretary General, Roberto Fernandez.

Unemployment of 80 bus lines

Likewise, the ruling party pointed out that “those who lost the elections, and represent the interests of the businessman, do not even remotely know the reality of transporting people in the country, now they are trying to invent non-existent situations, generate unease in the population, in the spaces of power, precisely because they were crushed during the last electoral process”.

“As workers’ representatives, we demand that wages be paid and we will enforce every vote of confidence they have given us,” the statement concludes.
