Cuban presenter Carlos Otero publicly apologized to his friend and colleague Boncó Quiñongo, after they had a small misunderstanding during a live broadcast of the TN3 program.

Carlos Otero apologized to his audience, the channel and Boncó Quiñongo for a joke in bad taste he made during the program last Monday.

During a segment of the program when the CEO of the channel Carlos Vasallo was leaving, he handed the microphone to Bonco and Carlos Otero said that he had given it to him because he mistook him for a “slave.”

Faced with criticism, Otero apologized and justified himself that sometimes when he is with Boncó because of the trust they have, it seems that they are sitting in the living room of his house.

“It was a joke in very bad taste what he said, I am not going to apologize, I am going to apologize,” said Carlos Otero.

“It was not fair what I said and much less timely,” continued Carlos Otero in his program.

Carlos Otero and Boncó share a beautiful friendship for years. In 2020 when the comedian was unemployed after the cancellation of his television show “El Happy Hour” on the América TeVé network, it was Otero who welcomed him to the cast of TN3.

The news was announced by Otero himself in the broadcast of the program that aired on January 16, 2020. “This news is for me to say with your permission. For all the watching friends, for all the people who are happy, for all the people who doubted at some point. Boncó Quiñongo is permanently back on TN3 as of today ”, commented the Cuban presenter.

It is not the first time that Boncó participates with the cast of the program. On other occasions, he has shared moments with Otero and the Venezuelan presenter Mónica Pasqualotto.

Upon hearing the news, Boncó Quiñongo said a few words of gratitude to the entire cast of work with whom he has always worked as if he were at home, since he considers them a family.
