At the 95th Academy Awards, it was time to recognize the category by best documentaryamong the nominees the award-winning film was about Navalny, which deals with the life of the Russian politician Alexei Navalny and what he experienced during the opposition to Vladimir Putin’s regime.
When the production came up to deliver the speech, Yulia Navalnayawife of Alexei, was responsible for giving part of the speech, which was addressed to all political prisoners. The economist stressed the importance of bringing justice to each of the current political prisoners, so she called for the release of her husband and her country.
