On March 10, 2017, the country witnessed a horrific crime. A 21-year-old girl named Ana Lucia Carranza Chiara he had committed one of the most heinous murders. He contacted his victim to Tinderthey had a casual and sexual encounter and on the second dateshe murdered him.
Luis Sergio Ramirez Santos The 19-year-old lived his last minutes quite cruelly. Ramírez lived six whole hours of agony, a fact that made her “Tinder Slayer” he told with extreme coldness to the Peruvian National Police (PNP). His case shocked the whole country.
Ramirez and Carranza they met in Tinder. They talked for a while and finally decided to meet face to face. The meeting point was at the Jockey Plaza.
The young woman asked Luis Sergio, two years her junior, to accompany her home to San Juan de Lurigancho. They went to the neighborhood and had an intimate encounter. After that, they saw each other only after a year.
This was the death sentence of Ramírez Santos by Carranza Chiara. She wanted a formal relationship, but the young man did not. What is strange is that the woman had already had a relationship with Aníbal Augusto Chalco, whom she also met in Tinder.
“I here (the victim’s torso) took a very hard step and a noise was heard. So I climb on it and I put my two feet in it and the rope was already intertwined there (…) I start to pull”, says the “Tinder Slayer” as part of your statement.
The second meeting had been coordinated as follows. The young student would go to Saint John of Lurigancho to meet the young woman, they would spend some time together and finally, each would go their own way.
What the victim didn’t know was that the woman would be waiting for him with her new partner and it would be the last day of his life. Sergio Ramírez took the electric train and left for his final destination.
“The purchase took place at the San Hilarión market with the young Aníbal Chalco. He entered the bag and wanted to take the test. He wanted to know if he could get in the bag and he got in,” he said. Horace Carranza, murderer’s brother
Everything had been calculated, the groom and in turn confessed murderer In addition, he said he bought wrappers, gloves and tools to hold the hair. The purchase was made the day before the macabre crime.
Ana picked up Luis Sergio at the “Los Jardines” electric station and they went to his house.
Upon entering the room, the torture began. The victim saw Anibal with a sword and he hit him with it, Sergio fell, ran and threw himself on the ground. He started bleeding to death and they started torturing him.
“When Luis was bleeding to death there, I tortured him… I took his blood and emptied (the blood) into that jar. It coagulated. It looked like jelly. I dissolved it with my hands, they were like four of those I threw away,” said Aníbal Augusto Chalco, accomplice in the crime.
For the police, this event was quite rare because the victim, during the torture, did not put up any resistance.
“What is strange here is that there was no defense for the victim, young Ramírez. He is dripping on the wall and starting to bleed and does nothing to defend himself,” he told General Miguel Ángel Núñez at the time, who was at the head of the Dirincri.
According to the ‘Tinder Killer’ statement, the victim said she wanted to die.
“Then, with scissors I opened the tourniquet and there he said he wanted to bleed to death, that he felt very rich. That’s what he said (…) He wanted we were taking all his blood (…) He said no, I’m not going to die this way. He misses a lot, he said, ”said the ‘Tinder Killer’.
“Afterwards, he was laughing and saying a lot of inconsistencies. He didn’t care about everything. He said he wished he had died,” the woman recounted.
Around 3:30 p.m., the young man cried out that he could bleed to death, because according to the murderoushe confessed to having tried to end his life long before.
“So we said to him, are you being smothered? Already. It doesn’t matter anymore. (He) wanted them to kill him,” Carranza said.
In order for him to die, the “Tinder Killer” had to squeeze part of his upper torso, put on some music, hang him with a rope and eventually, the 19-year-old student died.
Once the body was inert, the young woman from San Juan de Lurigancho began to pack up the legs, covered the whole body with bags, rags and blankets so as not to arouse suspicion.
“We stuffed it (the bags) so it didn’t look like a person… I spray painted it and then put it in the bag. I stopped him first,” confessed Anibal Chalco.
They took the body in a taxi and began to extort the parents and relatives of the late Luis Sergio. They asked for S/20,000 and got S/1,500.
Eventually, they were arrested by the police. Today, the two murderers are serving a prison sentence.
