From the first hour of this Wednesday, the aerial means will be available to continue with the extinction and control of the fire.
The forest fire that spreads through the southern area of the Madrid municipality of Aranjuez is already stabilized , although some scattered outbreaks persist in areas that are difficult for firefighters to access.
As sources from Emergencies 112 have informed EFE this morning, throughout this night the fire crews present in the area will try to extinguish the fire at those points .
Emergencies 112 has also pointed out that the fire team has informed them that it was expected that, between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. , a change in wind, which could blow in a south-west direction over Aranjuez, would affect the western half of the town , for which he recommended that the neighbors stay in their houses with the windows closed.
In this sense, they added that if anyone felt any type of respiratory difficulty, call 112.
Continue with the work of extinction
The same sources have pointed out that the air means will be available first thing this Wednesday to continue with the work of extinguishing and controlling the fire .
In this way, they have explained that in the morning there will be “an estimate of the surface and damage” caused by the fire and, once that assessment is available, it will be possible to determine if the fire is controlled.
