Although not always given sufficient attention, teacher training is a crucial issue in the education system. This is one of the keys that teachers and professors have to face the challenges of the present, including the use of digital technologies, methodological changes and working in multicultural environments.
Education must be inclusive and equitable, ensuring that everyone has access to the same development opportunities, regardless of socio-economic background, gender or ethnicity. It is crucial that teachers pay attention to diversity education, and this is one of the pillars of the training.
Based on these premises, during the month of February several training days were organized by different institutions such as Consudec, the Pilar Educational Center and the delegations of San Miguel, San Isidro and San Martín of the Regional Council of Catholic teaching. There were over 4,000 attendees from all over Argentina. Ticmas accompanied each of these events, with specific activities, talks, conferences, round tables and training workshops.
The workshops addressed several of the most important aspects of the present: “The challenge of supporting digital citizens”, “The implementation of the Global Pact for Education across schools” and “The project-based learning from a STEAM approach and its formative assessment”. A real work of teacher training which will continue throughout the year.
