Sushi and drinks in Punta del Este: the new gastronomic proposal with a Japanese touch

The beach of The barrier It is the seat of a different gastronomic proposal throughout the summer season, since the Fabric Nikkei gastronomic chain has landed in Punta del Este, Uruguay, next to the Casa Mar Parador.

The restaurant’s renewed menu includes hot and cold proposals, starters, salads, ceviches, tiraditos, main dishes and classic desserts. What remains is the central concept of the kitchen of Nikkei fabric: the merger of the Japanese and Peruvian culture.

The beach club was created by Grupo Jet and Grupo Fabric, who took inspiration from some of the most exclusive spas in the world, such as Saint Tropez southeast of France and the Greek island of Mykonosknown for parties in the summer.

This is why, within the framework of Casa Mar, the predominant colors – such as earth, orange, brown and sand – complete the landscape. Added to these shades are bamboo canes and lots of vegetation with plants such as ferns and jungle varieties.

Those who wish to enjoy Nikkei dishes on the beach and with a direct view of the sea, can go outside. Here you’ll find several lounges with white armchairs, mattresses with their own lampshades, and a full bar with snacks and cold drinks.

Inaugurated on December 15, it hosted a big New Year’s Eve party and during the first days of January, a musical event with MONOLINK and Eelke Kleijn, two great international leaders in the world of electronic music.
