Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw has raised his voice in the confrontation with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and asked the president to take action against Mexican cartels, noting that these criminal organizations are the ones causing the most damage to the Mexicans themselves.

After López Obrador threatened to launch a campaign in the United States against the Republican Party in response to the initiative of some congressmen of that party to declare drug traffickers terrorist organizations and thus justify greater intervention by the American forces in the fight against drug trafficking in Mexico territory, Crenshaw questioned the motives of the Mexican executive for not fighting criminals.

“Stop defending your narco friends and take action to prevent fentanyl trafficking. Calm down with your lies about an alleged “military invasion”. We just want our military forces to work together. Or do you prefer Mexico to be conquered by drug traffickers?” asked Dan Crenshaw on his Twitter account.
