Ankara, 21 Feb. Some 25,000 pregnant women living in the area affected by the earthquakes that devastated southeastern Turkey will give birth within a month, further increasing health pressure in the region, the Birgün newspaper reports today.
This media cites a report by the United Nations Population Fund (Unfpa) which indicates that there are some 226,000 pregnant women in the eleven provinces affected by the earthquakes, which have already killed at least 41,000 and more. 105,000 injured.
