DETROIT (AP) — Jalen Smith added 20 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, as the Indiana Pacers beat the Detroit Pistons 121-115 on Saturday, adding to their 11-game losing streak.
Isaiah Jackson added 19 points and 11 rebounds for Indiana (31-37), which improved to 5-2 in its last seven games.
Isaiah Livers had a career-high 18 points for the Pistons. Killian Hayes finished with 17 points and 13 assists.
Detroit has played without five of its top six scorers. Hayes was the only one in the lineup.
Indiana missed Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner.
The Pacers will stay in Detroit to complete a two-game series against the Pistons on Monday.
