Madrid, April 17. The Norwegian Casper Ruud returns to the podium of the ATP world rankings, after the Serbian Novak Djokovic and the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, whose Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas falls.

Djokovic increases his advantage over Alcaraz by 90 points, while Andrey Rublev, winner of his first Masters1000 in Monte-Carlo, has no additional prize and remains in sixth position. Daniil Medvedev moves up one place and is fourth, with Tsitsipas fifth.

In the top 10, the Dane Holger Rune gains two places, is seventh, and the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime loses two places to find himself ninth. Italian Jannik Sinner retains eighth position and American Taylor Fritz tenth.

Rafael Nadal goes up this week, although he has not played, by one position and is fourteenth. The other Spaniards in the top 100 are Pablo Carreño (17), Roberto Bautista (25), Alejandro Davidovich (38), Bernabé Zapata (41), Roberto Carballés (53), Albert Ramos (58) and Jaume Munar (83).
