Both international news and social networks are already reporting explosions in some Ukrainian cities as well as military operations and flights.

The confirmation was also given on Twitter where Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba posted a message that reads:

Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes. This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now.

All this happens in the early hours of Ukraine while, in New York, the UN Security Council meets where there have been dramatic moments with the exchanges between the representatives of Russia and Ukraine.

The Ukrainian ambassador, Sergiy Kyslytsya, took the floor to ask the representative of Russia: “Say in the minutes that at this very moment, your troops do not bomb or bomb Ukrainian cities… You have a smartphone, you can call Lavrov (Russian Foreign Minister) right now.”
