The intense rains recorded for a few weeks are wreaking havoc in different regions of the country. In some cities it has been reported floods, landslides, landslides on roads due to precipitation.

Emergency in Peru due to mudslides in Chosica, Junín, Ancash and other regions

At the San Mateo hydrological station, a flow of 23.14 m3/s was recorded, being below the yellow threshold. In the early hours of the morning, it recorded a flow of over 26 m/s, which is why it was raised to the yellow alert level.

Chillon River
At the Puente Magdalena hydrological station, in Santa Rosa de Quives, a flow of 39.51 m3/s was recorded, reaching the yellow threshold and endangering the towns of El Olivar, Trapiche Bajo, Paypay, Alcacoto and Hornillos.
River Canete
At the hydrological station of Socsi, in Lunahuaná, a flow of 186.79 m3/s was recorded, placing it within the orange threshold and endangering the settlements of Socsi, Pinta, El Monte and Santa Sofia.

Chancay-Huaral River
At the Santo Domingo Hydrological Station, in Huaral, a flow of 72.45 m3/s was recorded, placing it within the orange threshold and endangering the settlements of Quiuquin Grande, Quiuquin Chico, Lindero, Pueblo Libre and Panchala Huaca.
Checras River
At the Picoy hydrological station in Pachangara, a level of 1.05 m was recorded, reaching the yellow threshold and endangering the settlements of Picoy, Huancachin and Chiuchin.
Huaura River
At the hydrological station of Sayán, a flow of 79.79 m3/s was recorded located at the yellow threshold and endangering the populated centers of La Cruz de Andahuasi, Andahuasi, Eniminga Chico, Venturosa, San Juan, Eniminga Grande and Candelaria.
Vichaycocha River
At the hydrological station of Vichaycocha, in Pacaraos, a flow of 13.68 m3/s was recorded, reaching the yellow threshold shortly after going to the red alert and endangering the populated centers of Collpa and Vichaycocha.

At the hydrological station of La Capilla, a flow of 76.38 m3/s was recorded, being below the yellow threshold.
lurin river
At the Antapulcro hydrological station, a flow of 24.81 m3/s was recorded, being below the yellow threshold.

He National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) reported that precipitation of moderate to extreme intensity will continue to be recorded until next Saturday, February 25 in Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Lima, Pasco, Piura and Tumbes, which will be accompanied by electric shocks and gusts of wind with speeds close to 35 km/h.
In Lima, the high and very high risk provinces are: Cajatambo, Canta, Huaral, Huarochiri, Huaura, Lima, Oyon and Yauyos.
