Pressure in hospitals french remained high this Saturday, with little change in terms of patients with coronavirus covid-19 interned as those in intensive care units, in a day in which the health authorities reported 210 deaths.

According to the French Public Health agency, 30,326 patients were hospitalized for the pandemic, compared to 30,238 the day before.

In the ucis, by contrast, the number grew to 5,769, compared to 5,757 on Friday. It is well above the peak of the second wave, 4,900, which was recorded in mid-November.

The French Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, does not expect the occupation of the ucis to drop for at least two weeks despite the reinforcement of the restrictions, which have been extended to the whole country for a week now.

With regard to vaccination, the General Directorate of Health indicated that this Saturday there were 321,465 injections.

That means that there are already 10,745,234 people who have received a first dose of the vaccine and, of these, 3,684,788 already have the two that guarantee complete immunity.
