SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Jordan Poole had 29 points, six assists and five rebounds, Klay Thompson had 23, and the Golden State Warriors rallied to beat Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers 123-105 on Tuesday night.

Lillard had 25 points and seven assists after breaking his own and franchise record 71 points against the Rockets on Sunday.

Lillard committed three quick fouls after the break as Portland unsuccessfully claimed their personal fourth. The Warriors took every opportunity they had in a decisive 39-point third quarter and took control of the game thanks to Thompson’s 3-pointer with 1:46 left in the quarter.

Golden State earned its fourth straight win on home court and its eighth in nine dates.

A basket from Poole with 6:14 left in the third period took the Warriors to 74-67, and another from Thompson with 4:59 left in the fourth cut the gap to just two points, despite a 23 handicap. . .
